谓主管其事。
《新唐书·吕諲传》：“帝復两京，詔尽繫羣臣之污贼者，以御史中丞 崔器 、宪部侍郎 韩择木 ，大理卿 严向 为三司使处其罪，又詔御史大夫 李峴 及 諲 领使。”《新唐书·刘晏传》：“ 常衮 执政，忌 晏 有公望，乃言 晏 旧德，当师长百僚，用为左僕射，实欲夺其权。帝以计务方治，詔以僕射领使如旧。”
